Florence, South Carolina- December 9, 2025. First Reliance Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Blake Dressler to Executive Vice President, Greater Charleston Market President, and Michael Edens to Executive Vice President, Midlands Market President, two strategic leaders whose vision and dedication continue to shape our success. Their leadership reflects not only our growth in the dynamic South Carolina market but also our unwavering commitment to serving our communities with excellence.

Dressler joined First Reliance Bank in January 2021 and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, the South Carolina Banker’s School, Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking, and Leadership Charleston. He actively supports the dynamic growth in the Charleston market as a member of the  Exchange Club of Metro Charleston and as a board member of the South Carolina Bankers’ Association, Emerging Leaders. 

Edens joined First Reliance Bank in February 2021 and is a graduate of Wofford College and Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking. Edens is an active member of the Midlands community, serving on the Hammond School Board Finance and Executive Committees, and as the outgoing Chair of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Campaign.Edens holds leadership roles in the South Carolina Bankers Association, serving as a Board Director and the Chair of the Political Action Committee.
